Well, it was finally THE day! I think Heather and I were just as (if not more) excited about Aurora's party as she was! We've been reminding her every day - just 7 more days, just 6 more days. . .just two more hours. . .just 30 more minutes. . . :o)
Here's the *mostly*-finished cake - 5 boxes of cake mix, two bags of powdered sugar, three cans of pre-made icing, four ice cream cones, marshmallows, chocolates, good-n-plenty's. . etc, etc, etc. . . Oh, yeah - it was 5 layers tall!
Here it is with all it's final flair - the Pink Princess Pony Castle (of Power).
Notice the ponies are having their own cake - on top of the cake. :o)

love the cake, we celebrated ezra's birthday this saturday too, but he broke our camera the day before, so when my mom emails me the pictures i will post the race track cake i made..i love birthdays!
