Dodge Thanksgiving!

It is hilarious to our family that all of us have Dodges (with the exception of our Marine sister Shayna). We had to get a photo of us all in front of our Dodge mini vans with Dad in the Center with his Ram! We thought it would be funny to send a photo to the Dodge company.

Oliver and Aurora

We all fell in love with Brian and Alicia's little Ollie! He is so mellow and sweet, not to mention totally adorable. What a treat to be able to cuddle him!

Champion Golden Star is saved by Sir Henry!

The water is drying up in the irragation ditches, so there are these little puddles here and there with dying Carp and catfish in them. It's pathetic. Aurora found the magical, beautiful one and named it Champion Golden Star. She begged Popsa to save it's life for her. Well what do people do when a princess wants something? They do it! He went down into the mud, picked it up by the gills and carried it to the next deepest puddle. Thank you Popsa! You gave that fish at least another week.

Let the redneck games begin!

So we found a unique, and really funny activity to do over Thanksgiving with all the little cousins. Pulling a canoe on the grass with an ATV. UTUBE HERE WE COME!

Mason thought the nativity could use more animals...so he found animal puzzle pieces! "Good idea son!" He was very proud.

Hike at the Petroglyphs Near our house

We had a great time exploring and running around taking pictures. Too bad we didn't coordinate outfits, some of these pics would make great Christmas cards. Oh well, we can always go back. Mason kept taking off his shoes and socks the entire time. We finally let him hike back to the van bare foot. He was totally happy.

I don't imagine myself posing like this when I'm 60, so I'll take advantage of it while I can.

Bed head! We all just woke up from Sunday naps. I love it when that happens!

Dixon's Apple Orchards

We have created many traditions in our little growing family. Fall is probably our favorite time. We enjoy going many places together. This year Jonathan was not able to make it to everything because of his demanding schedule, and we treasure every second we get to spend with him. So far this season we missed the state fair, but we made it to Dixon's Apple Farm, The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and McCall's Pumpkin Patch. Not to mention lots of leaf jumping parties as a family and with friends. We also missed going to a Chili Roasting Fiesta, but Dad had lots of chili in his garden this year, and I was able to roast, stew and freeze a lot of delicious sauce. He also shared lots of pumpkins, tomatoes, bell peppers and cabbages all of which are either sitting happily in bottles in our pantry or chillin' in our freezer. Our favorite treat...Pumpkin muffins with a cinnamon/sugar crumb topping! We have been busy, but the fall has still proved to be beautiful, plentiful and full of fun.

Working on the house

We would like to fix up the house and sell it by the time JOnathan graduates. It is often an overwhelming job for me having three children to take care of, and with Jonathan working and in school full time.
